Definition of Kinesiology

“Kinesiology encompasses holistic health disciplines which use the gentle art of muscle monitoring to access information about a person’s well being. Originating in the 1970’s, it combines Western techniques and Eastern wisdom to promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. We all strive to live a balanced life, a life with joy, happiness, love and reasons to laugh. Kinesiology is an amazing way to restore this balance optimizing our health and well being.  Everybody’s journey is unique; no two souls are the same regardless of their similarities.

Once we have established the priority goal for you and discuss any contributing issues, you will lie face up and fully clothed on the treatment table. Kinesiology ‘muscle testing’ works through directly accessing the muscular feedback from your body, allowing us to clear any sabotage programs and/or, limiting beliefs you may have preventing you from achieving your goal and help to clarify your thought processes. Through the use of muscle monitoring, I use a range of holistic techniques that identify the elements which are preventing your body’s natural healing ability.  These may involve reflex points, to drain or nourish a muscle.  Acupressure points to influence the flow of chi through the related meridian system, Emotional release techniques or Vibrational therapy such as Flower essences, Essential oils, Chakra Homeopathic’s, Chimes, Singing bowls, Colours and Crystals.

 

Each of these amazing techniques can help to relieve pain, stress, muscular and nervous imbalances, detecting sensitivities and nutritional deficiencies and excesses. Kinesiology is not only limited to dealing with physical ailments. Its effective results can bring a person closer to achieving any goal they have set for themselves, by tapping into the body’s own wisdom and healing potential. Through this modality, profound changes may be experienced emotionally, mentally and physically, thereby increasing a person’s health and sense of wholeness.

For most of us there are key areas we all want to improve in our life.  Our health, our relationships, our children’s education, financial and spiritual connections, as well as to live life in a way that reflects your best self. As a Kinesiologist my aim is to support and help find these imbalances so that you can work towards finding a greater sense of equilibrium.
